“We spent two weeks in Manuel's house and felt very comfortable. The location is great - you have good access to numerous hiking opportunities. Outside, you have a beautiful view of the mountains. The accommodation was very clean, very spacious and communication went smoothly. For us, the kitchen equipment could have been a bit better, as could the Internet connection. The story of Home-Schusterwastl

The history of Home-Schusterwastl is unique and goes all the way back to Australia. But how did it start and where did the name "Schusterwastl" come from?

Many generations ago, a shoemaker — "Schuster" in german — lived in the old farmhouse. His name was Sebastian, which was commonly abbreviated as "Wastl" — hence the name "Schusterwastl". “Home” stands for what I want to offer guests: a home while traveling, a place where everyone feels welcome, whether you're looking for peace or want to go on an adventure. It's about the feeling of not just being a guest, but a part of our story.
